About the festival

Quilts, Inc. is the parent company of one public show and two trade shows for the quilting and soft crafts industry. Founded by Karoline Bresenhan, the event premiered in 1975 in Houston and attracts more than 55,000 attendees from more than 35 countries over a 4 day period.

Entry fee typically starts at $15 for a day.

Preview night is on 1 Nov and has separate timings for class participants and general public.

5 Nov, Sunday     10 am-4 pm

Exhibition

The event includes a quilt show competition and special exhibits. Over 1,500 quilts and pieces of fabric art are expected to be on display based on earlier events.

Registration for the Quilt Show Competition is now closed. Winners get non-purchase prize in cash. Topics include The Best of West, The Changing climate and Tribute to Queen Elizabeth II.

Entry fee consists of $15 and is non-refundable.

Advance online tickets were available from July.

Learning

This years learning sessions include 256 classes, 33 lectures, 2 forums and 1 sampler. About 87 instructors from all over the world are coming to the festival . All information on classes are available here.

Some of the popular instructors include Claudia Pfeil, Ricky Tims, Kimberly Einmo etc.

Shopping

The event will have a merchant market. The last editions saw more than 1,000 booths offering quilting and sewing supplies including fabrics, patterns, notions, batting, threads, books and magazines, computer systems and software, dyes and paints, sewing and quilting machines, stencils, ribbons, trims, and frames and equipment.

The event also has a Wholesale trade show
